Description
Alle slags vers — "all kinds of verse" — is a 1919 collection by Herman Wildenvey (1885-1959), one of the most widely read Norwegian poets of the twentieth century, published by Gyldendal in Kristiania, as Oslo was called until 1925. The cover is beige cloth with a blue-stamped vignette, and it was bought at Norlis Antikvariat in Oslo in October 2026.
Inside: 22 sheets of Hahnemühle Expression — 300 g/m² (140 lb), cold press, 100% cotton, acid free, hand-torn deckle edge — hand-sewn and cased into the original boards. 12.5 × 18 cm and 44 pages: a slim book of poems that becomes a slim book for painting, light enough to take everywhere.

This cover comes from a second-hand book that was already damaged inside. Expect honest wear on the boards — faded cloth, bumped corners, marks from decades of handling. None of it affects how the notebook works, and all of it is the reason the cover still exists.
