Description
Before Disney, Bambi was a 1923 novel by the Austrian writer Felix Salten — and a far darker book than the film. This is the cover of a Swedish edition of it, bought second-hand in October 2026 and rebuilt from the boards in.
18 sheets of Hahnemühle Expression — 300 g/m² (140 lb), cold press, 100% cotton, acid free, hand-torn deckle edge — hand-sewn and cased into the original boards. 13 × 19.7 cm: big enough for a real study, small enough for a coat pocket.

This cover comes from a second-hand book that was already damaged inside. Expect honest wear on the boards — faded cloth, bumped corners, marks from decades of handling. None of it affects how the notebook works, and all of it is the reason the cover still exists.
